  • Your use of Edge Internet services is subject to the Edge Internet Services Inc. Service Terms and Conditions Agreement (“Service Agreement”).

  • Your access to the Edge website is also governed by the Edge Internet Services Inc. Service Agreement.

  • Any undefined terms in this policy will follow the definitions in the Service Agreement.

 

2. Who This Policy Applies To

  • Our services are designed for customers in the United States and are governed by U.S. laws.

  • If you reside outside the U.S., you consent to the collection, transfer, use, and storage of your Personal Information within the U.S. and waive any rights under foreign privacy laws.

  • Your online activity may be transmitted over fiber networks or other transmission standards, which could be vulnerable to unauthorized access by third parties.

  • Performance metrics of Provider Equipment installed on Customer premises.

  • Details about devices used to access our Service.

  • Data transmission and reception patterns.

  • Content transmitted and received over the Edge Network.

  • Websites visited through our network.

  • Aggregated, non-personalized performance data, which may be shared with third parties.

Use of Network Information

We use Network Information to monitor and optimize our network performance. Edge does not routinely track website content viewed or email communications. However, we do monitor:

  • Service usage times.

  • Traffic patterns and data volume transmitted/received.

  • Equipment performance and interaction with the Edge network.

Edge reserves the right to access, review, and retain Network Information in cases such as:

  • Customer inquiries about service issues.

  • Suspected violations of the Service Agreement or legal regulations.

  • Activities negatively affecting other Customers.

  • Legal obligations or compliance requirements.

Marketing and Advertising Use of Personal Information

Edge may use Customer Personal Information for marketing and advertising purposes via email, postal mail, phone calls (including texts and pre-recorded messages), and IP Address-based outreach. This may include:

  • Contextual Advertising: Advertisements relevant to the specific content of a webpage being visited.

  • First Party Advertising: Personalized ads based on Customer's use of Edge Services and related social media interactions.

Customers may opt out of First Party Advertising but not Contextual Advertising. Edge does not engage in third-party Network Advertising, which involves tracking activity across multiple websites.

Third-Party Links

Edge’s website and social media pages may contain links to external sites. This Privacy Policy applies solely to Edge and does not cover third-party sites. Edge encourages Customers to review the privacy policies of external sites before engaging with them.

Sharing of Personal Information

Edge will not rent, sell, or share Customer Personal Information for third-party marketing purposes unless consent is given or required by law. However, we may share Customer data with:

  • Affiliates: Related companies for operational and marketing purposes.

  • Operational Service Providers: Third-party partners who assist in service delivery, such as payment processors and network optimization providers.

  • Business Transfers: In cases of mergers, acquisitions, or corporate restructuring.

  • Legal Compliance and Protection: If required by law, legal processes, or to enforce our policies.

Security of Personal Information

Edge employs administrative, technical, and physical measures to safeguard Customer data. However, complete security cannot be guaranteed due to factors beyond our control.

Customers are responsible for safeguarding account credentials. If unauthorized access is suspected, Customers must notify Edge immediately at support@Edge.us. Edge will never request sensitive information such as Social Security Numbers or bank details via email or text.

Access, Modification, and Deletion of Personal Information

Customers may access and update account details such as:

  • Name

  • Contact information

  • Billing and service address

Some historical data may be retained for security and legal purposes. To request modifications, Customers may contact Edge Directly

Opt-Out Choices for Third-Party Disclosures

Customers may opt out of marketing communications via:

  • The "Unsubscribe" option in marketing emails.

  • Replying "STOP" or "UNSUBSCRIBE" to marketing texts.

  • Requesting placement on Edge’s Do Not Call list.

However, operational and service-related communications will continue.

Customers cannot opt out of Edge’s use of cookies and analytics tools, which are necessary for service performance, security, and optimization.
